Additionally, when people think about Asheville, the figure of the irreplaceable Biltmore Estate will always spring to mind. This majestic property is the largest home in the country and has 8,000 acres of vineyards, gardens, hiking trails, and shooting ranges in addition to the museum of the house itself. There is so much for the entire family to do here all year round.  Asheville is a wonderful destination for family members, couples, or friends looking for a getaway!

DAY #1

Arrive to Asheville and check in to your chosen hotel. (This is an area that lends itself well to B&B’s or luxury accommodations like the Biltmore Estate or the Grove Park Inn, though there are also beautiful camping and rustic options available too)

Take some time today to explore the heart of Asheville on a fun walking or Segway tour. A couple of hours exploring the amazing culture, architecture and rich history of the city is a great way to learn about this area.

Live music and recommendations for dining experiences are always available. (Today’s activities are based on arrival time). 

DAY #2

This morning you will be picked up at your Hotel by 8:30am to partake in a breathtaking waterfall tour of the Blue Ridge Parkway.  This hike is approximately three miles through beautiful Appalachian scenery. The unique flora and fauna greet you during these hours on the easy to moderate trail through the lush oak and hickory forest.  Light refreshments will be provided along the way and plenty of relaxation time by the falls.  (The total journey will take 5 hours.)

Late afternoon spend some time touring one of the local breweries, wineries, or distilleries for your enjoyment.  There are many choices offering a glimpse behind the scenes of the preparation, bottling, and tasting process for you to experience.  We are happy to organize the perfect tour for you.

DAY #3

Today your day is spent at the incredible Biltmore Estate whose 8,000 acre oasis always offers a day that will be remembered for a long time to come.  We are happy to explore all of the things you can do there during your visit.  From self-guided or fully guided tours of the estate and grounds, to the winery tours and tastings, strolls in the gardens that are so manicured they seem surreal and of course Spa time is a possibility if you so desire.  Our goal to make this day as special for you as possible.

After your day at the Biltmore Estate relax in one of the bohemian cafes and listen to the sounds of the talented local musicians. 

DAY #4

Before your long weekend adventure comes to an end, we welcome the opportunity to organize a very unique experience into the world of the arts in Asheville for you.  The opportunity to have a one-on-one with a local artist as they share this amazing behind the scenes experience is truly special.  A custom curated tour of the River Arts District will leave you wanting to explore deeper into this eclectic environment.
